SYMBIONT ECOLOGY GROUP

The whole of nature is a system of interdependent variables, each a cause and a reaction existing as a concentrated whole. Every one of us at a certain level understands, through our own empirical experiences, that the integrity of our existence is dependent on the integrity of everything else in the world. Therefore, the question of how to best reconcile the differences in needs between those of our built environment and those of our natural environments is of fundamental importance for restoring the balance to our relationship with the world around us.

At Symbiont Ecology Group we strive to promote that symbiosis through rigorous scientific research, engaging environmental education and reliable ecological consultancy. Collectively we have the knowledge and the technology to allow us to live harmoniously within our natural environment, without compromise to our standards of living. Achieving this vision requires no more radical a notion than to approach old problems from a new perspective. That’s where we come in.

To maximize our effectiveness as research facilitators and education providers, Symbiont Ecology Group has adopted the ethos of a not-for-profit organization. All net profits are redirected into the business to fund future research, education and conservation programs, and to expand our capabilities.

SYMBIONT (sĭm'bē-ŏnt‘)
